Absolutely. For me, he over the season was our most consistent centre back. MOTM many times. Seems to be a great role model in the squad too.

 

The change in his physique in just over 18 months is pretty stark there!

I honestly dont understand how anyone would not want to sign him. He has Premiership experience, height, physicality, heart of a lion and he's been a stand out player for us all season.
Him and Ballard could already be our first choice pairing next season.

We've had so many bad CBs, Mephs has been one of the best ive seen for us in many years.

 

I do find it strange they haven't announced anything today. Id have though Le Fee would've been all over the socials today

It’s not a case of not wanting to sign him, I’m just not fussed if he goes elsewhere. Personally want a new CB who’s left footed and can slot straight in at LCB. Ballard and Mepham wouldn’t be a great patnership at PL level imho
