It's a hard one. The aim is to strengthen the team which would be the opposite if you sold a player in a position where we don't have enough strength already. As you say it's an interesting discussion but my answer to your direct question based on where we are currently would be no.
He looks good being carried by a lot of top quality players. He's got some very very bad habits as a player.
So does every player. If he wasn’t good enough for a team competing for 20th in the league he wouldn’t have over 100 appearances for a title winning team. Don’t be so overdramatic when it comes to evaluating players. You don’t like the fact he holds onto the ball longer than you’d like. But he clearly has qualities as he’s had some brilliant games for us

Yeah agreed. I love Harvey but I just don’t think he can ever be more than a sub as he doesn’t really fit our system. I think we’re holding him back tbh so right for all parties that he goes and excels somewhere else. And if it helps us get Wirtz over the line, even more love
If we had James ward prowse for example (a guy who played for Southampton etc) he'd look a real player for us. Jones doesn’t see the positions. He doesnt see the dangers. He can play well joining the box and at times what he does in retaining the ball is exactly what's needed. However 9 times out of 10 he will kill moves by hogging the ball. He will invite a challenge just to hold the ball and prove a player won't get it off him even when there's no need for it. He will walk a ball over to someone before passing 2 yards when he can release it in a simple pass and keep us moving.

There is a theory that this is a cheap deal because of the Wirtz transfer.......Flekken to Lever/Kell to Brent/Wirtz to Liverpool...........maybe
I'm seeing £12.5m too With only one year left, third choice and the promise to be allowed to leave this summer, I think it's understandable
