Being brutally honest mate, I don't know what is the incentive for Israel to stop, I make it akin to what's the incentive for Putin to stop. I feel those leading in a war see it as, we warned you, much like Putins intolerance of the West (EU), now I'm just going to do what I want to do. I think 'for the sake of humanity' has long passed. A pledge to release 10 living hostages is an insult to the Palestinians that are feeling the full effect of this war and Israel will look upon it just the same I'd have a guess. I think it's clear what's required of Hamas, but they have no intentions of stepping back, so on it goes. More death, more destruction.
Exactly how I see it. It's sort of like whoever is making the decisions for Hamas and on behalf of the Palestinian people, clearly are not on the ground in Gaza, and have no inkling of the Palestinian suffering that the media constantly show us. Humanatarian disaster, what humanatarian disaster.
Yeah it’s easy to release these statements when you are safe and well fed in a different country. Hamas could end the suffering in an instant. They’ve got no intention of doing so.
A reminder of a Hamas suicide attack which killed 26 innocent Israelis which happened 11 years before Piskies photo.
Donald Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff says Hamas's statement on the US's ceasefire proposal is "totally unacceptable and only takes us backward". In a post on X, Witkoff writes: "Hamas should accept the framework proposal we put forward as the basis for proximity talks, which we can begin immediately this coming week. "That is the only way we can close a 60 day ceasefire deal in the coming days in which half of the living hostages and half of those who are deceased will come home to their families and in which we can have at the proximity talks substantive negotiations in good-faith to try to reach a permanent ceasefire."
The IDF says that it killed Mohammed Sinwar, head of Hamas's military wing, in an air strike on 13 May. The same strike also killed Mohammad Sabaneh, commander of Hamas's Rafah Brigade, and Mahdi Quara, commander of Hamas's South Khan Yunis Battalion, the IDF says. The Israeli army says that they were "operating in an underground command and control center, under the European Hospital in Khan Yunis, deliberately endangering the civilian population in and around the hospital." At the time, the Hamas-run civil defence agency said the strike killed 28 people and injured dozens of others. Israeli warplanes dropped six bombs on the hospital simultaneously, striking its inner courtyard and surrounding area, according to local sources.
please log in to view this image Aftermath of the Qiibya massace in 1953 where 70 Palestinians, mostly women and children were massacred by Israeli forces We could go on But the point was that this started long before Oct 7th.
The air strike Sky News and its “expert analysis” denied was on a Hamas base and got the wettest BBC copy and pasters in a flap. Sounds like a bit of a war crime tbh. Not a war crime expert admittedly but Sinwar’s presence there feels war crimey.
You set it with the most random whtaboutery I’ve seen in a long time Anyway, when you sacking Arteta? You should fire him into Gaza for what he’s doing to your club, tbh.
Footy season over Bantz level for almost 2 months These threads are most popcorn potential someone usually cops a ban sooner rather than sooner I’m going first ban @Citizen Kane. @Sucky defo might do a poll thread
I always know when Piskie posts something without a link there is a reason, generally means he hasn't factually checked his information. It was posted in 2019, to claim it was a current event at that time, but it wasn't, the photo was actually taken in May 2007 and won a journalistic award. Which is two years older than the claim made in the text we see today. My guess is the photo was used to stir up more hatred, hence why it's back in the public domain.
Them kids defo look photoshopped bro looks like keeper has kicked the ball out and they are following the trajectory whilst running towards the estimated destination of the ball tbh
