Just struck me that travelling supporters, in the Championship will save themselves hours next season.

Sunderland and Plymouth leaving that league have made a huge difference ...

... shame for them that Southampton went down.

I went to Brighton first time we played there I think it was, lost 2-1.

Incredibly unimpressive gaff to be honest. Feels far smaller when you’re there than when you see on TV.

Did have some atmosphere then when they were ‘coming up’ mind, doesn’t seem to have now.

As a club will always say they deserve their success, hard to comprehend they played at greyhound stadiums and all sorts to survive.

PSG’s historic moment should provoke serious questions over football’s future

...And yet here, the great showpiece of club football became the showcase of so much that is wrong with the game, with the record scoreline aptly symbolising the scale of the issues. The fact that PSG were so enthralling to watch is part of that. That is the “sportswashing”, to use a term that has long felt like it doesn’t sufficiently convey what is happening....

...Inter’s entire revenue of £327m is just over half of PSG’s last reported wage bill – not revenue – and it showed....

What an absolutely stunning stat that is. Not like Inter are carrying cloggers either.

When Inter Milan are the minnows, in any competition, you know there's a massive problem ...

... PSG have more wealth than the French National team.

Thought the Inter fans were brilliant mind, which in itself shows how pathetic it is.

Passionate and lairy fans of a truly magical club sitting, not jeering, as they know it’s not a level playing field for them.

That doesn’t feel right on any level.

Two people have died and hundreds have been arrested across France after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) fans celebrated the club's victory in the Champions League final, according to the French interior ministry.

In the south-west town of Dax, a 17-year-old boy died after being stabbed in the chest late on Saturday evening, local media reported.

A 23-year-old man who was riding a scooter in central Paris was also killed after being hit by a vehicle, the prosecutor's office said.

Flares and fireworks were set off, bus shelters smashed and cars torched amid wild celebrations as PSG won the biggest prize in European club football for the first time in their history.

The French interior ministry said that 192 people were injured and 559 people arrested, including 491 in Paris.

Twenty-two police officers and seven firefighters were injured, the ministry said, adding that 264 vehicles were set on fire.

Good. 22 defeats from 38 league games. 17th in the PL. He shouldn’t be at Spurs.

Look at the teams they beat in the Europa knock stages, barring United who are just as ****e.

    Bodo
    Frankfurt
    Elfsborg
    Az

3 of them teams built on shoestring budgets and Frankfurt the only one with any kind of “spending power” and even then they’ll be massively in profit over the last 5 years I bet because of Marmoush and Kolo Muani sales. Doubt their starting Xl cost much more than Solanke did if at all.
