Aye the only way we stay up, is by being well organised (which RLB will have us) and then pace & power to hurt teams RLB talks a lot about pace on the transition so he will know to add genuine pace and power Of course we need players to be good on the ball but energy is what is key next season
this is one the reasons why I think we’ve got the best chance of the three promoted sides we’re not going up and gonna try and play like city, like Southampton etc that and I think the recruitment be sublime stand by that Enzo is better than any player Ipswich signed last summer, pound for pound.
I read an interesting article earlier this season about how Brentford when they first came up they targeted physicality with the idea that they could start to sign the ball players as they progressed. Think that's what we should do
I agree, I said last season that RLB might be the perfect manager for if ws go up. He doesn't want us to dominate the ball - he wants us to control games out of possession Leeds domainte possession in the championship, they won't have that in the PL. Burnley im unsure about as feel they lack some pace in the final 3rd for the next level but they have a good defense 1 of the promoted teams is staying up this yr imo
Incredible job I was not happy about the appointment of Beale and I thought the 2023 summer activity was poor for short term success but the guy has changed our club for the better Deserves so much praise
100% we need to look at how Forest played this year. Soak it up and hit them with pace. Anderson has always impressed me whenever I've seen him, shame he's a mag. I was hoping Jobe could be our version of him tbh.
See I do feel like they have 1 defender capable of being premier league level next season, need to sign either the same amount or more than us and thats their so called strength. Really does put us in a good place in my opinion.
Yep I'm a fan of Anderson, I reccomended him to the club i used to work for after his loan spell at Bristol rovers but then he got a chance at Newcastle
Totally Rumours Trafford is away to Newcastle, I heard it was agreed in January that he would join at the end of the season
Far much and thats at the start of june. What if theres anymore interest in players? Cant just sell everyone
RLB has hooked Neil quite a bit recently, that says a lot to me. Very rarely does your captain get subbed, in the final we looked much better after he went off.
