Lesson for all coaches and managers. Instil in your players the notion of trying to stay at least level with the last defender. Instead of ball watching.
Only one team have ever gone into the last game in a Champions League spot and failed to make it. Spurs are so Spursy.
How much did the FA and Sky have to pay UEFA to get six so- called champions from England into the Champions League this season? It does make a mockery of the competition. The inclusion of the mighty Spurs this year simply because they beat a bunch of minnows and the so-called mighty Man United really does make it ridiculous in terms of a genuine competition.
I've always said keep politics out of football, this was the right decision. Both these clubs have been taken over by the 'woke' as their locality has been gentrified in the past 20 years... https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...ndoned-palestine-flag-dulwich-hamlet-clapton/
The Champions league is the biggest misnomer ever, how can a team finish fourth or fifth and play in a competition with the title champions league. But for many years it's been about UEFA wanting to maximise income with as many teams as possible participating. The original European cup was a far better competition when only the champions of each country qualified.
Chelsea's 'young' squad (that only cost about a billion) getting all the plaudits for beating the Spanish equivalent of wigan, well done fellas
Champions League final tonight, I sincerely hope PSG get beaten as they're just another Man City Arab financed clone destroying their domestic game and, to an extent, doing the same to the Champions League itself. The same few clubs will be mopping up everything before too long...
Paris is buzzing, and I'm sitting with my two kids, both of whom are wearing PSG shirts. Heartbreaking. Good to hear them play the OBZ song before the game.
In a hotel just outside Bilbao to catch ferry back to Ireland tomorrow..... not watching game but following on beeb text.... thought just struck me, if PSG do this to Inter what will they do to Spursy Spurs in the UEFA Super Cup or whatever it's called..... could reach double digits.....
