Another talking point, Paraag open letter to Rangers fans about winning trophies, easy to do I guess when you only have one team to beat but is owning Rangers a negative for us. Weekend debates need Doc back writing them, would be nice to see him posting again. There are quite a few old posters I miss, Jammy could be controversial but he was a good poster, Leeds60 and WJ I hope they’re both well. Several others who still post here but not as often as they used to. Whatever their reasons, I hope all is good in their personal lives and it’s nothing health wise or family concerns that keep them away. For me, Promoted, a transfer window opening in 24hrs and the talk coming out is we have funds and not the usual play it down messages, it doesn’t get much better being a Leeds fan (in the 2020’s), the build up and anticipation. I hope I’m not revisiting here in 48hrs complaining that we have signed Vardy, Wilson and Farke is telling us Meslier will be his first choice next season
Hello I think 3 by Monday is a long shot tbh possibly by the 10th when the window closes for 5 days. I am confident that we'll get the 10 we need by September 1st bit who that is will be anyone's guess.

I think McAtee will be considered too expensive and they'll be going for a cheaper option. Same as the keeper from liverpool. The young Turkish lad was for the youth ranks from what I understood. It’d be nice to get some business done early, particularly confirming we’ve signed Solomon permanently. In some respects I wouldn’t have a problem with Vardy on a one year deal. Though don’t want his wife anyway near being associated with the club. I reckon we’ll likely get one of Hamer or Buendia, I don’t know which would suit us best. Personally don’t see us getting a marquee 10. Still reckon we’ll sign a couple of players, from the continent, that’s not being mentioned in any media speculation. Hopefully they will be able to adapt quickly to the PL. If we’re in for a goalkeeper we shouldn’t be stumping up the money that Liverpool seem to want for the Irish lad. Still think Mes’ll stay in the hope of regaining No 1. Hopefully the club will really surprise me with the quality of who they bring in, irrespective of where they come from.
Rumour mill was suggesting levy is still considering sacking the whinging Aussie.. in which case he may wait for a new guy to decide re Solomon. key words in that sentence being ‘rumour’ and ‘mill’

I don't see any Prem Players coming in the 1st week unless the deed was done before the 1st. as all will be on their holibobs. Personally think Soloman is a done deal. The signs of him wanting to come back with "I love this club" also knocking back other clubs etc etc. also think Firpo moving away is a done deal as he is the complete opposite he's weighing up his options and no inkling of him throwing his weight behind the Leeds colors in wanting to stay. As on any others I wouldn't have a scooby do and let's be honest I don't think any of us do. I'd love the Keeper Kelleher from Liverpool but he will take a big chunk of our transfer fees so I don't think it will happen unless we get some sort of deal but he's in demand so the scousers won't do deals on him as they will finally get what they want for him. Championship players I'd say not yet. let's get our big men in first and see what we can drag out of the championship with what we got left. Personally don't think there's much business to do there anyway. because, not many are better than what we already have. this window IS Massively all about improving the first 11 right? Thing is we are in a position to hand pick some Champ players they will be gagging for a Champ to Prem move. Like teams have done to us in the past. Player/Agent power always wins.
A less exciting link is for Stoke City 19 year old striker Emre Tezgel. An England youth international who has shown he has a large ceiling. Out of contract this summer and would only cost a compensation fee. Its not a 1st team signing but would play u21's next season.
