And I was pointing out Joseph needs to be given the chance in the position he plays before people say he is not worth 2.5, previous loans we had were crap at some other clubs but they come to us and went on to better things. Under this new manager if it is the one they are talking about Joseph may well flourish like philo or delap did.
We may have attracted the quality PL loans like Morton, Carvalho and Delap, but looking through the list of players Rosenior signed permanently, other than Philogene and Pandur (did he even want him?) it's slim pickings really. The only others who have made more than 5 appearances since signing are Simons, Vaughan, Lokilo, Connolly, Allsop, Sharp and Omur. Since he left, I'd argue we've signed better players: Kamara, Drameh, Millar, Hughes, Belloumi, Alzate, Crooks, Matazo and Egan.
I'd say connolly while here had a good season. Scored more in half a season than Pedro for instance, but your general point is fair. I think the injuries stuffing matazo, millar etc makes it tough.
Good post. I guess that has to give us some hope going forward. Injuries absolutely stuffed us ... even our PL loan signing (Barry) got long term injured. And I guess it's fair to say that Joseph was backed as a signing, if not even suggested, by Selles, who is no longer here (and possibly the 'lack of confidence' included his backing of Joseph).
I remember Toure at Man City getting a pass bonus as he wasn’t doing enough. **** me. Harry Redknapp told a story about a striker he was signing. All nearly there then the agent asked for a goal bonus. Harry told him as he was signing him as a striker that was his job in the first place and called it off.
To be fair, it's not just about the recruitment, as after he was fired we lost Seri and Tufan. Could Rosenior have convinced them to stay? As Chazz said, money attracts players.
Eduardo Álvarez, sporting director of @LDU_Oficial : "For now, I don't want to give any details because we depend entirely on Hull City's decision. Óscar is training at home because his suspension prevents him from coaching at any club. He has a personal trainer overseeing his preparation to help him maintain his rhythm."
At one time Vale were sponsored by PMT, FACT. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I like minimalistic or retro designs for football shirts. Hate the modern-looking ones. The new Man City one for next season with the sash looks crap.
5 Goals in 23 games in the top Eredivisie division. Ok for a 22 year old that would not have cost the earth.
While I wasn’t over impressed with him He was settling in and appeared to like it here And has a good attitude So to let him go and bring bedia in was a desperate measure. there was some stat the other day on Facebook about young strikers Apart from Haaland and mbappe none of them really smashed it early in their career
