Fans over there liked him, but didnt really have to do much apart from score an important goal.

Definitely think you can get a million quid or more from a bottom end ligue un team.

 

He would be a cracking signing, great experience and still a very good player. Would give us a wealth of experience

You think with ekwah and pembele we could offer them too teams of players we interested in and offer them on the cheap as a bargaining tool. Just with French football been in a bit of a mess at min.

 

Think he's still got a couple yrs left, 4 year deal

He was worth the risk as he looked unreal at PSG before his injury

I was so excited by him but it's just nit worked out - looks a shadow of the players he was

I think this summer might be the first time he can really show what he’s capable of but doubt he’ll show enough. He is quick though and the premier league needs pace.

 

Don’t know if anything in it. But someone OTR records Blas of Rennes is one to keep an eye on. Good player who can play wide or in the 10. Has comparisons to mahrez. 6 goals 8 assists this season 27 years old and Rennes need money

 

So Real Madrid could wait 3 weeks and sign Trent for free. Instead they pay Liverpool £10m now?? That screams dodgy to me!!

I worked with someone on a piece about 11 league un signings for the promoted prem teams and he was the first name on the sheet.

 

Blas is very good. He was expected to be a major player but didn’t really kick on, but he’s of a very good level.

Not the quickest would be only concern for the PL,

He is a lefty, which is always useful.

 

Thought the nuns still beat that out of them in France. Regardless can't use his hands anyway.

 

I think the lure of such a massive club which has the benefit of being familiar to him / his family, is going to trump the love he has for us.

he can leave us a hero now or risk things going sour.

I just personally wish we held on a bit longer and got more money next summer but I also understand that we don’t want to be seen to be blocking moves like this.

 

Be a shame if he went, but totally expected as the Bellinghams seem to have a clear career pathway lined up for their sons… I hope he stays, but I’ve made my peace with him leaving and thanks for his contribution to our great club

 

FIFA are making a big deal of the club world cup - prize money is $125m for winning it but there's tens of millions for each stage you advance to. They obviously want the strongest squad possible.
