He doesn't play wide left though. He's plays more inside left channel. A bit like when Gnonto plays in the 10 role, he tends to drift out wide. Another one who played the channels under Farke is Buendia. He rarely played centrally.

Very good Aski. Demonstrates emu’s point pretty well. But also re risty’s point - it shows Azaz is more like 4 like positionally with Aaronson. Hamer can and does play in that 10 role but he plays a different role for the blunts than how we currently set up. I read something from wilder a while back about how he gives hamer a bit of licence to play where he can influence games and he likes to play from the left channel but float around and find pockets of space. I’d noticed (especially When the blunts have been chasing the game), you see him drop deep to try to pick up the ball from the keeper/defenders almost from left back position. The heat map showed that pretty clearly. For the record Aski. I had Piroe and aaronson the wrong way round (in retrospect should have been obvious from the volume of touches) - having worked out Azaz from being the one that couldn’t be anyone else. The others were pretty obvious. our wingers sure hug the touch line
When I put it together, and added the answers into the spoiler, I had to double check Gnonto and Aaronson, as I'd have said it was the other way round (although it was 1:30am when I put it together so was a bit sleepy). I nearly added Firpo's in just for a laugh, but he spent too much time actually being in his proper position
