Fella's been named and charged with the Liverpool stuff, he has a wife and 3 kids. Life'll be a bit **** for them for a long time.
Seems as though he followed an ambulance going to an emergency which got him into the cordoned off area, people started to kick and throw things at his car which made him want to drive away. Drugs and drink may have influenced his decision making.
The only driving charge he's facing is dangerous driving, there's no mention of drink or drugs. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Surely that will be part of his 'defence' & unlikely or helpful for him to let it be known in advance
Can't see that happening, not sure he attempted to kill and would be very difficult to prove in court.
I cant see how they would make AM stick... if its a jury trial the guy is ****ed before he starts.. Reckless Endangerment and the under the influence would be the more appropriate charge you would have thought.
I'm sure the Crown Prosecution know what there doing & stages to charge at / % of success from charges. A friend a few years back did Jury Service and the accused was charged with murder and one of the questions fired at them was around, 'really serious harm' and the defendent admitted this and this is part of the category for a 'murder' charge. Doubt he will be tried in Liverpool either...
In court today, 6 charges "related" to GBH and 1 charge of dangerous driving. If there was any drink related that would be known by now, not sure how quickly they can test and get results for drugs.
