Oh dear Russia has continued to make billions from fossil fuel exports to the West, data shows, helping to finance its full-scale invasion of Ukraine – now in its fourth year. Since the start of that invasion in February 2022, Russia has made more than three times as much money by exporting hydrocarbons than Ukraine has received in aid allocated by its allies. Data analysed by the BBC show that Ukraine's Western allies have paid Russia more for its hydrocarbons than they have given Ukraine in aid. Campaigners say governments in Europe and North America need to do more to stop Russian oil and gas from fuelling the war with Ukraine.
Thing I found interesting watching the raid on the food store, was how people didn't appear to be trying to steal from one another. You can be sure if Brits were starving the ****ers would be fighting. People in this country wouldn't have a clue if they didn't have a supermarket or their smart phone to order stuff from. Something you never see in these photographs is disabled people, I don't mean from the war, but you could include that as well or people with serious medical needs, especially over 18 months. I'll assume they are all dead. Actually I have seen some amputee's but disabled people in general, and people that need stuff to keep them alive, all this stuff gets forgotten about in war, I include Ukraine and any other war in that. Imagine @Solid Air 2 wanting a new part for his chair, engineer crawls through the rubble to get to him, and says I aint got the part but will order one. Solid replies I did have one in the garage, but they've blown it up. Soz, my brain has gone astray.
The UN have a massive axe to grind as they’ve proven to be utterly useless at their well-funded tasks and are being frozen out for a system that actually works. They’re always available for a quote but never available to check in on their mates’ hostages.
Wasn't that the same clipboard who told everyone that 14,000 babies would die within 48 hours, which elapsed a week ago? He should be the one tallying dead embryos. Give him something to do now that him and his department have been made redundant.
Hamas have rejected the latest US draft for a ceasefire. I have to say, I thought it was a very reasonable proposal. But they want a full and permanent end to hostilities, and Israel just isn't going to budge on that. So it boils down to this: Who does Hamas care for more, itself or the civilians it claims to represent? Answers on a 2nd class stamp, cheers.
Yup - then withdrew it... probably nobody starving and no Civilians deaths in Gaza either...always good to focus on the real important stuff ... Although he is a British guy with access to more information from Gaza than most ... so apart from the number he gave ... might just have a pretty good idea about conditions there ...
couldn't afford a stamp The other sticking point was no mass aid resumption Also since it is clear Israel intends to force the clearance of Gaza has anyone said where they're meant to go
Need to tippex over my answer to the previous question first ... of 'Who does Benny care for more, the hostages, himself or the country he claims to represent?' - covering that capital 'B' 'is tricky
Firstly - no Gazans should be forced to leave their country - such forced removal is illegal under International Law. Secondly, why should any other country be obliged to take them?
1. i was asking CK if he knew what the Israeli plan is - if they have one that is 2. where did i say they should
It’s only really fair if they go to Iran who are behind all this and forced out the vast majority of their Jews, for the ethnic cleansing enthusiasts. Feels like a win for everyone except obviously Iran who have made it clear Gazans are only useful to them dead or making propaganda videos.
