interesting point the £800k compensation .... what if LM DECIDES to just up and leave? AND HIS AGENT then gets him signed up with say another team .... including in the list of other teams would be Norwich!

CONWAY saw a patch of green grass on the other side of the fence and jumped! Didnt do him any good though Middsbro ended lower than City ... one has to think, should he stayed and scored a few goals we might have even challenged top 2? or even in play offs been so much stronger!
Semenyo finished with a bang! ............ good advert for any prospective buyers! a £50m price tag would earn us a few shillings £10m+ ?

He was probably very keen or seeing his wages double, or more as well.

I have smelt a rat at Ashton Gate for many years and have always felt that some kind of gremlin is blocking our way to the top of the pyramid. The statement that Bristol Bears are apparently more important than the Robins, and the fact that no Premier League team is allowed to ground-share seals the deal for me as it tells me for certain where Lansdown's priority lies. It makes perfect sense to me that we have been led down the garden path, not for the first time I may add, by an owner who has clearly shifted his emphasis from getting City to the top table. Perhaps Liam has smelt that same rat and decided to jump overboard at the first reasonable offer to go elsewhere to a team that knows how to get there based on their history. The needle in my haystack has been found and I wonder why I have supported City for so long under a dark cloud of apathy and lack of communication with us supporters. Over to the next nodding dog in the cycle and good luck Liam.

Its not a fact. Premier league football clubs are allowed to share grounds and what football clubs have to do is ensure that their fixtures take precedence over those they are sharing with.

Bristol City's fixtures in the EFL take precedence over another party at Ashton Gate - The rugby club.

Crisis what crisis is the order of the day again and here we are after what must only be described as the best season in 17 years wondering what's next? Over the season I never truly saw us as play-off contenders as we never seemed to get moving in first gear in a lot of our fixtures and it was definitely those failings that stop us achieving a whole lot more than we could ever have wished for. Any new manager has to be a aware of the pitfalls and lost dreams in becoming manager at Ashton Gate plus the unknown factors such as what takes priority and who is being let in on the top news when it happens? Surely time is up for BT and although he is a bit of a City legend the clock has expired on his role within the club and he needs to be replaced with a footballing inside man who could unlock the doors to an exciting team combined with a better future by placing the most important things first - once and for all. Common sense should always prevail but I will wait and see if we travel with our usual boring approach and final destination. :emoticon-0145-shake

Did not like his time here-always injured on big wages -him and Dyche were shocking on the pitch.

    Dyche was useless for us.
Imo O'Neil had a touch of class hampered by injury.

I read an article yesterday that should Manning leave he will take 3 players with him.........Dickie, O'leary and Mehmeti.
Can't believe he'd take Dickie because of his age.
As for O'leary and Mehmeti, besides me paying their bus fare, they won't be going anywhere.

I still think there’s a very good player somewhere in Anis. After all he was our top scorer last season, albeit without scoring that many.
My (almost) indifference to those players going is tempered by concerns about who (if anyone) will replace them.
We have a horrible habit of letting our players go without having replacements lined up.

the fall back is academy players!
if they get a first team chance and really shine [ assuming it is a point where they have a "peak" ] and get a couple of follow ups it could kickstart their being on a professional contract!

in the past there has been a lot of get a game or 2 then screw it up in one game with a bad "action" and get dropped and / or then farmed out to a lower grade!!!!!!!!!
