I think I'm really pointing out that despite clubs buying players they aren't getting good enough players. I'm concerned that a coach is being given the job. Let's hope he's good at it.

I agree with this. I have no concerns about Howe and his signings if he has complete control over them.

Hes the one responsible now so he is the one who makes the calls and gets his right players.

I’m actually happier this way. Having a DoF and manager who clash is not good for the club.

Well so far Howe because he’s won a pot and got us in the CL.

I don’t always agree with his decisions but I can’t knock the overall progress under him.

 

What position did he play.

It's progress under the ownership for me and Howes just part of that.

 

Quansah is another name

 

He is slower than a one legged 90 year old though

 

I hope we don’t sell either, but way Elliott was talking at end of season, lack of game time and fact we’re looking to spend huge money on Wirtz suggests his time here is up. Real shame as on his day he has that quality to unpick the lock, but physically just doesn’t fit in with what Slot wants from his 10.

Quansah is another I hope stays. Great back up, home grown, currently 3rd choice and still young to hang around for a year or two to try get into team ahead of Konate and an aging vvd.

Both decent players albeit Quansah prob isn’t top CL level starter yet and can’t see him start for you over burn and schar and botman next season.

 

Most the more exciting links I see I almost instantly know aren't our type, however there's some rumours I see that match Newcastles profile and I think both Elliott and Quansah do.

They'd strengthen our side and squad, and if anyones expecting Mbuemo and Guehi they're sure to be mistaken.
