Personally think Seelt needs to be loaned out. He’s missed too much football to be a bit part. Needs a year like Nectar has just had. I’d probably say the same for Huggins.
Worth mentioning, Sheff Utd were largely out on their feet by that point (their fitness and conditioning has been pretty abysmal all season). The difference between Neil and Le Fee may not have been so stark if it had been vice versa (Le Fee starting there and Neil coming in after 70 mins).
It sounds silly and I know it’s true on one hand but Enzo is going to feel like a new signing. I feel like we never really got to see him play in the right position. Starting the season with us and with a full pre season I kinda suspect Regis will build a team around him.
I’d want someone better then someone who only started 1 game for 16th that’s how you finish 20th buying players like that
So it’s more like that £330million even if you finish bottom? Wild. And we haven’t sold the shirt sponsors yet.
No the 220 million figure touted includes revenue from tv prize money and parachute payments I’m pretty sure
Seelt, alese and Huggins all have the ability to step up imo. very hopeful for them and wouldn’t be shipping them anywhere.
Maybe just me but I dont see it that way. I think most players would hate less game time. I am not even sure I see a lot of rotation in league games. The Chelseas of this world maybe, or those with European games. But if I look at the likes of Brentford I see a core group who play 30 plus league games. Then I dont see much evidence Regis is heavy on changing the line up too much. There is much to be said for a settled side where he values things like triangles on each side. I think we have a very fine balance to strike next season. We have progressed so well in significant part by giving young players there pathway. Rigg is here because of his first team appearances for example. And the academy is full of exceptional talent because they know they get a chance here. We have to balance the need for more quality, with the need to demonstrate our academy remains a place of choice. If we lose that I think we lose what is making us special again.
