The trend of 3 come up go straight back down has to change at some point , I’ m going to believe we can be the start . 4th bottom will do me , but please ensure it well before the last game !
Best way to do it has to be to make sure we take the points in games against teams at the bottom . Don’t want to hear the Liverpool’s etc saying we have been the best team so far at their ground ( easy to say when they have taken 3 points 1-0) and “ Sunderland will be fine if they play like that” - only for us then to lose.next game badly to a relegation candidate at home .

I just hope who we bring in have the same attitude as the "Til the enders".We'll need that in the Prem, absolutely no passengers.

That's why I love our owners, they put the focus on our academy and have done everything to make it a success

Our academy should be the heart of the club now and in the future.

I'm so proud of our club these days, it's not always been the case (always loved the club just not always agreed with how it's being run)

I thought we would be top 2 as well, certainly after our start to the season.

Some of our players are underrated I think. The pundits certainly havent got a clue, with their quick highlights view at best.

One thing we have in our favour, imo, is that so many of our players on their upward curve in terms of development. Their scope to improve again this year to next is huge. In my opinion Rigg will return much like Jobe did, a totally different player. Mayenda is on a frightening curve. Mundle will be better I think with some work on decision making. I dont underestimate the improvement in Neil after a season of leading the side. He is probably the most 'aware' player we have. I would bet Hume proves himself a top half full back, purely because of his mentality.

Ultimately though we should not underestimate these lads commitment to each other. If we can retain that one for all and all for one team spirit it will go a long way. Regis clearly values this above all else and I am confident he wont oversee a ripping up of the team and the mentality.

Motm on Saturday - Anthony Patterson from our academy

Captain on Saturday - Dan Neil from our academy.

Match winner on Saturday - Tommy Watson from our academy.

Youngest player to ever play in a Championship playoff final - Chris Rigg from our academy.

What we're doing is so special and anyone willing to sacrifice that to throw money at 20 players for survival needs their head examining imo.

One of our biggest unsung heroes has to be Murty. And the fact we got someone like this to head it up shows how much Speakman and KLD value it.

We should never underestimate Speakmans background in academy structure. I have faith in him in particular to make sure that remains our biggest source of progress into the future.

Here here mate. It has been a long long time since I have enjoyed and been so proud in a set of players. And more importantly they genuinely seem to be proud of us supporters too. It can be a really powerful source of momentum.

That's what makes me more optimistic for us than a normal championship side that gets promoted. Most teams that get promoted have experienced championship players in their side, and they don't have much room for growth. Ours is totally different, we have so many players that have so much growth still to go

100% we need to add real quality to it but I'm really excited to see who out of our current squad really kicks on next season

I do too mate. We are already one of the most highly regarded in the country. Time to double down on that and invest again.

I have a nervousness we get the balance between first team games for young players, versus buying in those who on paper may be more ready. I am confident in Regis though in this, I really think he understands the value of what these young lads bring. And he is the perfect coach to guide them through. I really cant wait to see Rigg next season, so excited by him at that level.

    5-9
( as we already have one, possibly 2 and Mephs wants to stay)

    players out
    6-7

we will bring in more Adcamdy players.

we definitely don’t need 20. 5-7 quality additions, dependant on who else leaves, is all we need to supplement the very good and continuously developing squad we already have.

That said, now may also be the time to invest in a couple more of a level up on the “Aleksic-like” players, to fill up the squad. Players that were unattainable in the championship but are able to come in now and be succession planning for the future departures (or dare I say relegation)

Given RLB's mindset I think the cups will be binned off and its 100% concentrate on the league.
Given his decisions this season I wouldn't argue with that.

    My heart says let's go.
My head on the other hand says we wont have the squad to sustain it
Ah well, we can all dream
