This looks like a road rage rather than planned terror attack, what an idiot, I hope everyone is safe and sound.
Heard some saying he had gone down the wrong way....started being attacked, panicked....and it just escalated. I don't know. But either way, it's shocking and hope everyone is OK.
Definitely it should of been a time of precious memories for all. This is unfortunately where social media takes over videos and conspiracy theories all over it...
There is some complete and utter bullshit being spouted on social media, everything from the guy being a religious convert, to him actually being a 20 year old asylum seeker and the media are saying it’s a 53 year old British man as a cover up 2 serious injuries, no deaths, one of the seriously injured a child, probably the child that was left trapped under the car. I just hope the injuries aren’t life threatening or life changing and they both make a full recovery.
No deaths reported this morning, some serious injuries though. Not terror related. Looks like just some halfwit deciding to drive down there. Apparently police have been using a revised method of communication with the public to avoid inaccurate speculation about the event, this after the recent Southport incident and its aftermath.
Driver has been charged with suspicion attempted murder, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs.. Seemed he may have tailgated an ambulance down a blocked off road. Now he's been charged his name will be released.
that confused me too, for it to be murder it needs to be pre planned otherwise it’s impulsive manslaughter. (But I’m not a lawyer!)
