Hope you’re ok Luv, can tell this has affected you on a personal level easy to say I know but stay strong fam news conference expected at 10:30 with an update on the casualties
You’ll find signals go to **** with thousands around in confined spaces. Networks go to **** but hope everyone is safe
You'd assume they have the right person as given how it started it doesn't look pre meditated - more that somebody completely lost the plot - so they'd possibly have their license on them. You'd think they'd give a rough age if identity wasn't confirmed.
Hopefully Luv. My lad had 7% battery when we got to the ground today. It's what folk do, especially with all the photos and videoing they do.
They have given an age mate, I gave the age some while back, but the age was disputed, it's 53 as per the cops.
Yeah that's what I'm saying. If they hadn't have confirmed identity they surely wouldn't have given an exact age but a rough one is 50s
Will take relegation and promotion over merely taking part each season each and everytime ... what have you had to celebrate in the last quarter of a century? ... other than perhaps Real Madrid beating Liverpool in a CL final? ... answer is, **** all else ... you've been irrelevant... and little hope of that changing anytime soon ...
I can see where the talk of young guy is coming from, there's copies of videos circulating on Twitter showing a similar car before the actual incident. The young driver of that vehicle was experiencing trouble with members of the public, I can't speculate why that was but the car had it's back window busted. Seemed to be quite a few extremist accounts (what I call nutjob accounts) circulating the material...I don't know how else to best describe it. But I reiterate it is a 53 year old man that the police have arrested.
I was at the parade between Old Swan and the Jolly Miller (about a mile). There was at least 100k of us there just between those 2 points. I'd guess about 1 in 20 there were Asian, btw, so when the news first broke @ 18.15 I just knew it wasn't terrorism, and I'll tell you why. After the parade had left the Jolly Miller and turned towards Tuebrook I made my way towards my sister's just 400 yards down Mill Lane in West Derby. Me and @ about 20k others, I tell you. As cars were parked on both sides of the pavement all the way to West Derby village, we all slowly squeezed down the middle of the road. it was like being on the old, standing Kop. But it generally was good-natured, with pushchairs, and wheelchairs (some old geezer on a mobility scooter as well). Those 400 metres took 45 minutes. Point is, most of the the cars on the pavement realised they weren't going anywhere soon and sat mostly resigned, but one or two were visibly fuming. Then some ****wit tried to edge out of a side road into the crowd - even the other cars were winding down their windows and beeping their horns at him. There was just no way on God's green earth that anyone with half a brain would think they could drive through that crowd, impatient ****er. Fantastic, brilliant day with over a million of us from all over the globe out singing in the rain - and some entitled **** is now the news instead of the scenes on The Strand 20 minutes before. May he rot in ****ing hell.
