That scouse guy been charged with attempted murder as well as driving offences. Seems he was out of his head on drugs.
Just police enforcing fines for bailiffs... nothing to see here. Silly **** should've never opened the door
Not sure how all that works tbh. If someone turned up at my door with a warrant gotta admit I’d assume they’d have the right to enter. The police certainly would anyway.
Bit warped the French aren’t they? Seem to have a thing about family members. Joel Le Scouarnec, the former surgeon who has admitted sexually abusing hundreds of patients, mostly children, between 1989 and 2014 has been sentenced to 20 years in jail. Le Scouarnec was dressed in black as he stood emotionless in court listening to the judge Aude Burési deliver the verdict. He had admitted the charges in March. Judge Burési said the court had taken into account the fact that the former surgeon had especially sought out unwell, vulnerable and sedated victims. Le Scouarnec, 74, has been dubbed France's most prolific *****phile. He is already in jail after being sentenced in 2020 to 15 years for raping and sexually assaulting four children, including two of his nieces. "Twenty years is little compared to the number of victims in this trial. It is time for the law to change so we can have more appropriate sentences," said Francesca Satta, a lawyer for some of the victims. The former doctor has been on trial in Brittany since late February. During that time dozens of his victims have testified, telling the court how the abuse they sustained as children shaped their lives. In March, during a session held behind closed doors, Le Scouarnec admitted sexually
My pint was more about the police doing the bidding or backing up commercial company's pestering people for money. It's just wrong imo
Don’t they go out to make sure there’s no breach of the peace? I agree they shouldn’t be involved unless of course the court warrant means they should be. Like I said though that’s not a side of life I’ve ever had to deal with so I don’t understand the laws around it.
Onky time I've ever dealt with them was court fines unpaid, was at work and a court bailiff called me saying he's at my door with rights to go in with or without me so I told him to chili the door and I left work to pay it, he was cool cos he didn't have to wait the hour it took me but the inky bother was I had to pay the court in person so had to hop in his van to Hammersmith magistrates court bailiffs have powers commercial ones don't and that's why I ran back to pay The fine was cos I was disgustingly refused entry to a bus, **** closed the doors on me and tried to pull off, so I walked in front of it for a couple of roads until a police car came past the bus to see what was causing the jam
Just saw this and realised I got done by it last month for 40 quid. If it happens again I'll know to rip that **** off. Stay vigilant guise
Worth knowing, I knew they did whole panels, but never seen one with just the lid before. Don't the machines have built in cameras now that film you taking your cash...might be able to get yours back if they do, because liability should be on the bank not you.
Interesting. I’ve seen the whole front covers in action, the ones brb is talking about but I’ve never seen this. Would that sticky stuff really be enough to stop the machine from sucking the money back in. I’d have liked to have seen her give it longer before retrieving the cash.
I was out late about 1am and now I think back the whole thing was dodgy Walked up my road and the 1st cashpoint wasn't working, so walked to the next one and the same, then the third was working so I withdrew 40wuid and it didn't spit it out, I noticed I've rthr other side of the raod was some crachead lurking there for no good reason, it was off. Then the machine sounded like it was spitting out the money, like the roller was trying and trying kinda sound. Anyways I waited about 3 maybe 5mins until the screen said the transaction had been cancelled, soon as I took a photo of that and waljdoff the crackhead was over there. Told the Mrs it was dodgy af when I came back in, I reported it to the bank and they said the money had been taken out. So it took a few more calls and I emailed them the photo and got the dosh back after about a week. If I see the crackhead again I'll be asking for my 40wuid tho trust me
