Even though I consider him less of a rat than some of them after what the club did on the transfer deadline day, I just don’t rate him. Want him, Wober and Aaronson gone if they suddenly want to stay because we’re now back in the premier league and I know Aaronson played all season in the championship but that was because no one wanted him.

I've seen a bit of him. Defensively better than Firpo but still isn't the most reliable as he can switch off. He's an aggressive defender. Fans should love him.

Great crosser of a ball, is quicker than Firpo but nowhere near as good going forward.

Main concern is his inconsistency. Quite often he is fine but sometimes he looks out of his depth. I watched him play against Brighton a couple of weeks ago and he had a shocker.

I hope not. Look at the Ipswich experience, if you buy up all the championship talent then that’s where you end up playing.

 

I think he would be a decent signing, Ipswich went wrong in signing all Championship quality whilst keeping players who two seasons prior were playing in Division one. We have a lot of players with PL experience already, Bogle, Ampadu, Rodon, Struijk, Wober, Gnonto and James could all feature and I believe they all have at least a dozen or more PL games under their belts
