The fact is, we have a bunch of pricks in charge who do not seem to be able to say no to anyone. We just take in whatever washes up on our shores, regardless of who they are or what their intentions are. I think I remember you saying you have kids. Surely you must worry about the world they are growing up in?

Whoever you vote for rarely deliver anything of what they promise and your vote does have consequences as your vote put them in power. Right now , having Labour , Tory or Reform etc in power would not make any difference - they wouldn’t be able to stop the ‘boats’ even if they wanted to .
Strictly speaking, what you claim to be going for is rational rather than logical; it's a common mistake, but you're far from either.
