Jay Emmanuel-Thomas: From Arsenal football prodigy to drugs smuggler This is quite a come down from the heights of being a possible prodigy. You have to ask why he failed to hit the heights that some expected and I suppose the answer is that he did not work hard enough. It is possible he was far more talented than Beckham ever was, the difference being one applied himself at working at his craft, the other didn't. Now Emmanuel-Thomas awaits a prison sentence. and I wonder how much good this will be for him and the wider community. If I was the judge I would give him a suspended prison sentence, tag him and sentence him to "X" hours of working in the community - educating youngsters against the risk of his recent activity, coaching young and perhaps not so young footballers being one aspect of this.
He was at Aberdeen for a while - I`ve never seen a player lazier than he was. His JET initials are really ironic.
Man Utd in for Cunha at just over £60m, hes been good but really doesn't look like the kind of move that will secure them. If the rumour that they are in for Dibling is true too, I can see them continuing to sink further. They could be in trouble next season, fad transfers are not going to dig them out of their hole.

He was desperate to go wasn't he? Seem to remember talk of the french speakers (him, Djneppo, ABK) causing issues towards the end of 22/23.
Think he just wanted guarantee of first team football, but he might not have fancied the Championship. Don't recall him being one of the bad eggs. Or Djenepo for that matter. ABK, Salisu and Sulemana I thought. Maybe DCC and Orsic too. (Might not have included Sulemana)
