High and low moments I'll start. Highs VVD knocking Richardson on his arse then offering to help him up,... Then pulling his hand away and running off against spurs was hilarious... Can't find a clip.. Man city not winning a fuking thing Arsenal not winning a fuking thing Utd missing out on cl football Lestah getting dumped Into the pub league again Eloku getting cancelled Lows Probably trent souring the end of the season slightly but that's already forgotten
yeh clearly bro anyway highs: last Wednesday night Big Ange the man ramming the ‘always win a trophy in 2nd season’ quote up everyone’s batties Arsenal being Arselol Little clubs like Newcastle ending their 80 year trophy drought Palace winning the biggest domestic trophy on offer Goon tears Lows: only winning 1-0 on Wednesday night but as Jose said ‘finals are not for playing but for winning’ init Arteta not being offered a contract extension(yet) Pinkie disappearing Pool fans treatment of ‘one of their own’
Highlight of the season for me was Crystal Palace winning the FA Cup Enjoyed Big Ange winning the Europa League, if I wanted any manager to get anything it was him. So near yet so far, Nottingham Forest, didn't get Champions League in the end, but they have to face fact they just were not good enough in the run in. I don't blame Nuno for that, they were probably out of their depth a bit. The Greek owner is a tit and it wouldn't suprise me if NS wants out and wouldn't blame him. Clowns of the season, Arsenal without a doubt, won absolutely **** all. King of the season, Pep getting Champions League and finishing only one place lower than Arteta's lot, this despite putting in their worst season under Guardiola. Funny of the season, knowing that Newcastle only got CL thanks to Manchester United and without their help they would have been left with just the Mickey Mouse Cup to look back on. Jokers of the season, Leicester City for sacking Cooper and getting the goofy prize of Nistelrooy. Don't think I've missed anyone, nope that's it. *Worst Prem since 1991.
Yeh spurs and Palace winning cups was enjoyable for me too tbh. I'll also add pep losing his fuking mind, and scratching his face to bits admitting he has no clue how to fix things before banging more money out than all prem clubs combined in the January window to solidify his polystyrene genius. And Arsenal women winning the cl, just makes it worse for arteta
I forgot about Pep scratching his face, but mental health isn't funny Yeah and well done Arsenal women!
Palace winning the Cup definitely the highlight ... Newcastle not too far behind ... Always a bit meh when one of the Big Spenders win something tbh ...

...yet still managed to beat Liverpool to a Premier League title ... My first live game in 1969 was in the old second division, having been relegated and lost the 1969 Cup final to Citeh ... you seem to have a morbid fear / fascination about it - I simply take it as it is ... a transition, a moment in time ... just like Promotion... for real footie fans it's not the be all and end all - we bought into our club, not into the concept of success ... Realise that you will never be able to quite get this - followed Leicester City FC for 55 years now since that first game - highs would have to be the PL, the FA Cup, League cups for obvious reasons - but the most enjoyable, by some distance, were the seasons spent going home and away with my cousins and mates on the same coach from The Invincible Pub on the Eyres Monsell ... particularly winning the old second division in 1979/80 ... most of the lads were late teens / early twenties and the 'craic' was just special ... "those were the days ..." which was a favourite LCFC song at that time ...
Highs. League win (obviously) and the last derby game at Goodison. Palace Cup win. Salah equalling the goal and assist record. Lows. VAR, League Cup final, PSG 2nd leg. Nunez being Nunez.
