I'm watching the game on replay as couldn't see it live.

.I want to smack the people singing "Steve Gerrard" every five minutes. One time would have been a nice tribute... 10 (or how many times it's been) is really disrespectful of the team on the field who just won a title.

Alan Hansen won 8 titles and 3 ECs. They sang his name about twice. :emoticon-0143-smirk

loved his appreciation of vvd - Hanson was a key reason we dominated back then and he sees what Virgil has done for us.

It was a reaction against Trent.

Rather than booing, they were singing to hint that Gerrard was a local who stayed loyal to the club despite interest from other clubs.

Still seemed a bit tasteless. Once or twice to make a point was enough.

    Would you rather they'd booed?

No, personally, I'd rather they focus on cheering the loyal members of the squad on rather than trying to tear down the guy who turned his back on us. 10 other players on the pitch who aren't leaving on a free.

I'm not going into work Monday to continue celebrating.

... Nothing to do with being a public holiday.

Stevie G carried our club for over a decade and stayed when it could have been much easier to leave. He may not have won a league title but he won a place in our hearts, reserved for the greats……As far as I’m concerned; they can sing his song all night.

How ****ing snide are MOTD? We won Goal Of The Month 4 times, but not ONE Liverpool goal nominated for Goal Of The Season. They knew if macca's goal last month against Spurs was nominated that he'd win it. Utter thundercunts. :emoticon-0181-fubar

Mitoma's goal was pretty good though.

It was. But Jackson's was meh. No way would none of those four Liverpool goals (Diaz, Gakpo, Salah, and Macca) not made the final cut had it not been bent.

Yeah, but the result is always "bent" anyway, because it just depends on who can be arsed to vote - there's nothing objective about it.

I get 4 weeks a year (20 days) to split between Sick Days, vacation l, and in the case of Monday, it's a bank holiday and mandatory that I take it off ... But all holidays like Christmas/Thanksgiving, etc come out of my 4 weeks a year.

I don't waste my time off on sick days though... If I'm sick I just work from home.

How classy is Virgil asking Hansen personally to do the trophy presentation. The last captain and the latest captain to lift it in front of the Kop. He really is on another level. The moment of the celebrations for me.
