I'll add that we deserve this, double relegation and 4 years in league one, our banter years, literally rock bottom or as close as for a club like ours.

United fan pulling their hair out presently, Liverpool fans crying during the Roy years, none of that compares to what we've been through the faith shown.

What a journey, not only the result but the way the club appears to operate, we are a 21st century club.

Sat here at home watching highlights and post match interviews.

The interview by Jobe on sky calling out the people who didn't give us the slightest chance for the playoffs is brilliant. 19 years old and he interviews like a seasoned old pro.

I felt exactly the same and watched the whole match again.

Watching live, I thought we were poor during the 1st half and Sheff Utd were really good. After rewatching, I didn’t realise how much possession we had and just how much they relied on humping it forward. They had the more clear cut chances, but never really controlled the game. Relying on that style of play explains why they were so poor when they were in the PL.

The stats don’t lie, the pressure of the game obviously got to me.

I thought we were poor until the VAR intervention which seemed to kick us into life. I don't know if it was nerves or if they were just literally too pumped up which with a team full of young kids is understandable. I also think the Onien injury affected us as we missed him carrying the ball out of defence and stepping into the midfield.

Could feel it was turning just before half time and we totally controlled the 2nd half barring the chance they got from Cirkins error.

I spent the whole 2nd half just praying we got that 1 chance and by God did we take it when it came along. After the equaliser they seemed done and we just had to put them away which we did in injury time. The greatest time to do it and cue absolute bedlam in the stands.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. What a day.

 

It doesn't and I will. Got one with just the 2 grandsons and 3 sons on from the Portsmouth game and with everyone on for the Wycomve game, so this will make the set.
At the end of the game we stayed behind until the stewards starting trying to get people out. I decided to take a minute to have a good look round the stadium because, if (when) we consolidate ourselves in the Premiership I may, at my age, not get many chances to get back. All of a sudden I heard a steward ask us to move on to which one of my sons replied "give him a minute he is having a senior moment"

 

Now that's class. The move the finish the sheer delight on everyone's faces. What a day, what a couple of weeks
