This may not be perfect, Chunks, but this is the song that I've had in my mind since last Friday, and it could be appropriate for everybody. It was written by Paul for John Lennon after he died, so the words aren't all 'right' but I hope that you understand the sentiment
That's lovely mate, thank you. The Beatles where one of dad's favourite bands. Thank you all again for your kind words, they have been a real strength to me and my family. Dad's funeral has been confirmed for the 12th June, he was very specific in his no fuss request, but did ask that people raised a glass to him on the day
