Still not entirely sold on the 343 formations as I think we lack that extra presence in the midfield of the extra man. Even 4-2-3-1 would be better suited imho.
Think we look to gain the ball and then mostly bypass midfield and get 5 up top with the wing backs to create an opening. I expect a lot of wing play by us today
Completely agree. It's failed Amorim all season and whilst I don't mind it against bigger teams, particularly away, I think it leaves us short and much less of a threat. Not ideal.
I don't think Howe trusts Krafth at RB in a back four. Injuries to Hall and Trippier have probably resulted in this formation.
This. Absolutely dross from some players. The formation is crippling us. It’s ok against attacking teams but not against Everton. Possibly the most frustrating half I’ve watched. Barnes needs gone. But so many players playing poor.
