Off Topic New Manager... Sergej Jakirović appointed

I was down in sandbanks a couple of days ago and didn't see Harry, I think he was up here negotiating his contract.

 

Might stick a tenner on Kevin Keegan just to see if I can get him on the list for a laugh .

 

Sat on a board meeting ha ha. He went for a meal with Acun.

 

Baz wanted Selles. I thought he was a good option too. I still think we should have stuck with him

All the talk midweek was Gerrard would go to Ibrox but the focus seems to have shifted to Davide Ancelotti in the betting.

In Gerrards case it seems to revolve around his Mrs having to uproot from the middle-east to Glasgow.it's reasonable to assume that similar would possibly apply for a move to Hull?

 

Think I'd go for that Renee Slegers, now that really would be left field...

Exactly. The fact some people think he was invited to a 'board meeting' as a friend and would be part of discussions is hilarious.

He has been used to ensure the right message gets out. And Cooper, like the sap that he is, goes straight to twitter like a good servant and relays the message.

I really didn't. Unlike you my life doesn't revolve around posting on here Derek. I don't give a toss what anyone here thinks of me, i post occasionally on stuff I'm interested in and tend to only reply to people I find interesting. I made an exception with this post.

Well we can strike Xabi Alonso off the list, fkr went for dinner and ended up in Madrid !

 

In last weeks interview with Mike white, acun seemed to be happy with the finances of the club etc.
Now all of a sudden he’d welcome an investor(s).
Could the new manager and potential investor been linked, ie we get a Turkish manager and the investor is Turkish ?

or am I just too bored on this bank holiday sunday

 

Nothing is imminent on the investor front (other than the various Ehab consortiums promised here a few weeks ago!).

Don’t think the two things are linked.

 

In last week, there was huge layoff news in biggest companies in Turkey, I don't think anyone would take the risk invest in football club these days. Forget Turkey, it is in deep economic **** with 50% interest rates, no investment from there.

But I am open to any money incoming, from Arabia, US, wherever.
