I have been harsh on Patterson. However that save in the first minute was literally world class. Unbelievable.

Well I for 1 didn’t want Watson anywhere near the 1st team after he signed for Brighton.

That’s why RLB is a manager!!

    What a goal.

Wonder if he’s now regretting signing for Brighton?

PS Still high as a kite.

I am happy for Var mind. I felt we got whooped first half and if that second stood it was over.

We came back really well second half. RLB was excellent and hooked Neil at the right time, as he was having a shocker. Subs made the difference.

Neil was cramping up after 55 mins said in his interview on cbs so wasn't tactical. Even so it was a game changer for me as it allowed Le fee to play where he is best

Those who said it wasn’t possible to switch back on were wrong …

… no big deal but I’m sure there’d have been endless posts saying they were right.

Resting players, going easy in games, Portugal, etc was all criticised, fair enough. But the manager defied the ‘experts’ and built stamina into them which kept us going til the end in three exhausting games.

And by the end, yesterday, Sunderland grew stronger and United were shattered …

… if it had gone to extra time Wilder would’ve had to throw the towel in.

Agreed. I thought Neil would have stepped up but he go dominated in that midfield. Jobe was the only one powering.

That's class, tremendous job of arranging the pub. Will be a regular visitor whenever I happen to be in London .

Sorry couldn't get there afterwards for a few beers, would have been just too much for my dad. On the journey home now and will be watching highlights and clips of of our fans all day :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The whole game turned as soon as that goal was ruled out. The lads realised they had a chance to win this and kept going all game. We finished the game with more possession. More shots and more accurate passes and the win

I think Neil let the occasion get to him too much, he is one of the fittest in our team yet he was cramping up at 55 minutes

Just feel he let the occasion get the better of him

The difference when Le Fee dropped back was night and day

Jobe and Le Fee have the potential to be a PL class pairing but still feel a powerful natural CDM is key in the summer

I reckon Jobe is 50/50, a few huge clubs seem determined to get him in and Dortmund would be incredibly hard to say no to.... but he was kissing the badge at the end yesterday so who knows!?

Amad.... Less than 0% chance lol. Literally guaranteed not happening. He's probably been Utd's best player, their rebuild will centre around him. Even if, for some mad reason, they decide to move him on, we can't afford him, not even close. Would have to sell Jobe, Rigg, Neil, AND Patto to get close to Amad's value. And even if we did that, he almost certainly wouldn't come because he will have offers of much higher wages from teams playing European football...
