I was there for the first time “on my own”
By that, I mean without ,y parents there (Dad is just not able to walk further than a few metres now) and without my boy who couldnt get the day off work.
Cried my eyes out at full time, mainly massive emotions over the latter part. Missed having my boy with me. But he was crying at home too (yes the same son who claims to be a Man Utd fan!!)
Yet I was never on my own!
Travelling down and back with
@Bob the Mackem and 2 other lads (not sure if they’re on here or not), all arranged through
@Smug in Boots , who did an amazing job.
met up with some I already know, and some new to me.
The ones I remember (apologies if I miss you off)
@RTB @Washysafc @kirkyboy and his soon to be son in law I think!!
@Daz and probably loads more!
Here is my take on the match.
We won. They lost, we got promoted! I ****ing love this club
Oh, as for the miserable **** sat behind me, where every attempt at a difficult pass was met with “that’s ****, why not play the easy ball” and every easy ball played was ‘****, why aren’t you getting it up to the strikers”
Go **** yourself. SUPPORT the club in their biggest game in over 10 years. Instead of what you did.
same goes for the ****wits who were half way out of the ground after the second goal went in, only to come back when VAR got involved! The club doesn’t need you
