He turned us down on our offer of a scholarship. Rumours are we reset the wage structure at youth level, and we lost him in that fallout.
Same reason we lose any good player, a better offer came along. Is even easier at youth level as they can just talk to any club at 16 and we receive compensation. What I don’t know and maybe someone here does, can we offer say a 14 year old a pre contract that kicks in when they are 16? Or is it just a free for all when a player turns 16?
