He got a lot of abuse at United but he always gave 100% for them and in final years scored some important goals. More interesting is United used his as a defensive minded player where as Scotland where he flourished and now Napoli he’s played further forward and scoring more goals and getting in the box. You’d think he would be first choice in Uniteds midfield now ahead of Casemiro mainoo mount and Ugarte.
He was one of the very few players they had that I actually rated. Quite happy when they let him go as they've got a terrible recruitment record.
Mctominay was always a worker but an average footballer and injured a lot. He pissed all over the indulged can't track won't track types. Utd got everything they deserve this season. Fair play to mctominay but he is probably more suited to that league as he wont get injured kicking people. I totally agree henshould have been in thst midfield ahead of any of the players ten haag bought but there you go.
The forest player who now plays for arsenal Or the former Newcastle player who is playing for lfc next season
Nice for Salah and Gravenberch to win individual accolades. Grav been superb, dropped off a bit end of season but been a huge influence this year after an indifferent one last year. Not sure anyone being that solution to the 6
In the list thst I saw he was certainly the best At least he was sort of young in thr season. Saliba is 24 and on the list.
Sunderland late winner - potentially. 2 mins to hold out before they return. glad it’s them over Sheff united
Said Sheff U were **** at Wembley. Last time they won there was 1925 They've never won a Play-off final
Sunderland back in the Premier League. I am happy for them, much prefer them to Sheffield United. Those Sunderland fans have suffered big time and deserve a break, problem for them is massive though. The promoted teams do not seem to be able to bridge the gap to the Premier League anymore
Sunderland it is. They need more time to develop. They are on the Brentford path. Sunderland are like Middlesborough. Former big crowds thst drifted away and they are recaptured the interest. They still had 30k on average in league 1.and 38k in the championship. That's a big old core support
The way I see it, either side would get relegated next season anyway, so it might as well be a team who hasn't been in the PL for a while. It'll be like Ipswich this season for their fambase.
