When we were in the UCL, Howe was awful at rotating and ran players into the ground, we had a number of arguments here about his contribution to the atrocious injury list, so I’m concerned. We can’t have a summer where he buys a bunch of subs he’s then reluctant to use.

 

Can you name the decent quality rotation options he had available? I don't fully disagree with you, but I'm hoping his decisions were more influenced by poor squad depth quality.

He did rotate at RW between Almiron and Murphy, so yeah. Good example.

 

Livramento. Hall. He had both sat on the bench game after game whilst Trippier and Burn plodded through matches.

If we sell Gordon/Barnes I'd put a big bid in for Rafael Leão as AC Milan have failed to qualify for Europe this season so they'll need to sell their best players now, Tonali and Leão also had good chemistry at Milan when they played together too.

 

I don't understand why everyone is desperate to sell players.

 

No one is (I would guess). But I would be content if some were sold and replaced well.
