I agree, players who demand Champions league football won't join, but then so what.

This came about as a result of Fosse's Man U Brand statement....ie I'm saying its isn't that much of a pull right now, and Man U and will attract players of a different level right now, ie players that will potentially get them into Europe, rather than building a title winning team.

 

OK ... was still going when Slimani played so saw him a few times in the flesh ... but haven't been comparing them as footballers ... simply that both played for Sporting and excelled there ... but the jump from the Portugese league to the Prem is massive ...

Wanted us to take a gamble on Gyokores when he was at Cov ...

Scott McSauce has won the Serie A title

 

I rated him, just kept scoring. People said I was full of ****. They may have had a point.

 

He’s become an absolute hero there. Player of the year for the whole division but more than that to the fans and he’s totally embraced the city and culture. Obviously it’s funny that he was surplus to requirements at United but it’s just nice to see a British player killing it abroad.

 

I’d probably have held off until after their inevitable victory next week before risking this.

 

Sorry to hear that mate. As scant consolation I do hope Sunderland can at least do something to alleviate the situation. As you know I'll be cheering your boys on.
