I cringed a bit at the booing, but I do understand the sentiment behind it - it's just not something I'd do.
All this but I wish him no luck. Thats just weird for me. He plays for a rival so I hope his career goes to **** now.
For no other reason than that, if Trent had done this, then both he and Madrid would be looking at a transfer embargo at the very least.
Absolutr BS because if it was true, lfc would be going to town in taking Madrid to uefa and all sorts for tapping up players, you can’t even talk to a player at another club without agreement let alone get that player to sign a deal
Rival fans have hijacked the 'fans player of the year' vote, looks like Trent's winning it. Pretty funny if you ask me, we've done it to other including Napoli to make Lucas win. ****housery / banter at it's finest
So just exclude him What was he doing in the poll in the first place. Pretty simple to just make the poll vanish and hand it to salah
Slot has said in his pre match briefing that he had words with Trent over his lack of effort in training Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday, Slot revealed he had to speak to Alexander-Arnold in his office during pre-season because he was not happy with the right-back's work rate. "It is already a first gift I can give Xabi Alonso but I wasn't completely happy with every single minute how he was on the training ground," said Slot. "In my opinion, in certain moments he could do a bit more, to say it mildly.
Interesting video from Klopp talking about TAA. Makes lots of valid points and I just hope tomorrow that if he does come on for 15/20 minutes that the crowd just do nothing. If not going to cheer, don’t boo. It’s title celebration day and it’s a feel good moment. Yes it sucks he’s going but the club have lost better players and still improved. Hopefully with the rumours of Wirtz, Frimpong being almost done deal and kerkez the club can see that we’re moving forward.
As I mentioned a while ago, nobody booed Klopp for leaving because they understood the reasons behind it. It's the manner of Trent's leaving that has upset so many, not the fact of it. Klopp has always been a father figure to his players and is protective of them, and tbf he rarely speaks ill of anyone so I'm not at all surprised that he would defend him. As for saying "he gave absolutely everything" - well, there's a lot of us who felt that that wasn't true of his defending. Slot has cast doubts on his commitment, and now Tuchel is piling in on his attitude. Southgate wasn't keen either. Defence minded coaches are more likely to put emphasis on that aspect of his game than a more adventurous one. As I've said, I wouldn't boo him, but I do understand the feelings of those that do. I think they should just have refrained from cheering and that would have been enough to get the point across.
It's **** that a local lad spent twenty years at his boyhood club and won two titles, isn't going to get to enjoy either with the fans, never mind a send off her probably deserves Obviously, that's ignoring the contract stuff but appreciate that's the reality and understand why it isn't going to happen. He's made his bed...
