This was the choker for me . Toby . Bought for me by my wife , formed a hell of a bond . He developed sudden total paralysis and I had to say goodbye to him , wife was at work . He was 12 Not ashamed to say I’m crying as I type this . Think about him every single day . That was 6 years ago .

Yeah. I worked out I've spent more time with him than any human in my life. That's quite something. He's a top lad, very entertaining, incredibly loving. Hardest thing in the world knowing that at 18 (and he's had chronic kidney disease, as many cats do when they age, for the past four years - so he's already a bit of a medical marvel) there's not going to be too much longer with him. He'll leave a huge gap when he does go.

Jeez, this thread was supposed to be about the fun nature gives us but has turned into a gloom fest of pets we've lost or about to. If someone can't find a happy story to tell, I'm going to read some back issues of Match Day Threads to cheer myself up.
