The numbers I saw on the tinterweb were double any other player, granted that’s almost certainly bollocks, if he’s on par with others I’m fine with that.
I really doubt he is. Seems a good bloke and there’s value in him being here even if he’s not playing much but I doubt the club was taking up this option if the choice was theirs.
I wake up in a cold sweat having dreamt we've taken Taylor Richards back and extended his contract by 3 years.
It says on the offy that the extension was "triggered" by him having played 60 odd games over the last 2 years and by QPR having retained its Championship status. So it would seem the club had no choice. Having said that, he deserves another year if he can get back to anywhere near his best. I just hope the salary for this extra year is affordable and he finds his top form again because he was below his best after his initial injury.

Looks like the fabulous Santos is coming back - deep joy Santos set to return to QPR By West London Sport 19/05/2025 Vitória SC have indicated that they will not be taking up an option to buy Heverrton Santos. West London Sport revealed in January that Santos, 24, was heading to the Portuguese club on loan from QPR for the rest of the season and that the deal included an option to buy him for around £1.7m. He was shipped out after head coach Marti Cifuentes made it clear he preferred Harrison Ashby and that Santos was not part of his plans. The Brazilian right-back joined Rangers from Estrela last summer but made only four Championship appearances before returning to Portugal.
I quite like that we gave them the option to spend £1.7m. Like the corner shop giving you the option to spend £50 on a Dairy Milk just in case.
At least there's a glass and a half full of goodness in a Dairy Milk...there's just a six pack of ****e in Santos
This is unbelievable, one of our best prospects. They're barking... https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2025/may/22/harry-murphy-to-depart/
He’s 21 and not even made it into our crap first team squad. Lower league cannon fodder. With the rare exception, like Eze, really good players will be much further on than him in their teens.
Remember Antonio German? Actually broke into a sub-par first team and then disappeared It's a crushing machine that eats up 90% of kids My mate's son who is is 12 has been signed up by a local side here Al Ahli. He's been scouted by many European sides already. My mates dilemma, go all in and follow his kids dream but chances are at 18 he's out and broken or say no and send him off to Uni to study Law
And why not? Might be a great move rather than a part time bench warmer at the likes of City a la Grealish
Absolutely. Absolutely. He will develop there. He won't playing the occasional game under Guardiola and, frankly Arsenal have other priorities. Mind you that assumes that G will not cobble together any flimsy excuse to proclaim his loyalty to Citeh and how he never wants to work elsewhere and then jump as soon as the number of zeros on his pay packet and transfer pot for next season are sorted
Sheff It'd to offer Dunne a contract according to WLS. Tough call in January not taking the cash but our league position was so precarious. https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/sheffield-united-set-to-move-for-qpr-defender-dunne
