I think their bad times will continue for a good while yet... discussed on TS this morning, how can next season get better for them, other than not having to play as many games. Exodus of players and not able to attract those who want to play in Europe.
20 year old players now have grown up without manure being a top team, and hopefully it gets worse for them they wont have the allure they once had for younger players

Their current squad is a mere shadow of what it has been for decades. They've probably got enough sway on their name to sign good players, but we have 6 English teams in the champions league who will have much more money to spend, so if you were Liam Delap, would you pick United over any of the current top 6 or Spurs? If they want to challenge for Europe next season, they'll realistically need to upgrade most of their starting 11
