it feels just fine, thanks. I don't want to watch us line up like we did last night, week in/week out. However, playing suicidally attacking football against teams who will pick us apart 9/10 times isn't taking us where we need to go. Pragmatism has to be a relative concept. That's what we need in a coach, someone who will set the team up to beat the opponent in front of them. Ange finally stopped (at least, in the EL knockout phase games away from N17) trying to prove a point and started trying to win something. If that's pragmatism, more please!
Apparently there are 50 winners medals which the club can distribute how it likes but they only had 30 available on the pitch and we had our whole squad there so they ran out before Bentancur, Romero and Son got their's. They each got given one in the dressing room afterwards
Mine asked me why i was getting so excited over a football match - my response was not well received Don't care we won ! And remember "It's who we are matechampions of Europe
Was due to be on a train back to Devon 20 mins ago. Paid for another train on Saturday so I can watch the parade My Mum and Uncle drove down yesterday and sat in the premium seats at the stadium, I’ve just met them to give them my patch of WHL turf and keys to my house and they have strict instructions to plant it when they get back .
Vicario's mentioned what Ange did pre-match Rather than give the full speech before the match instead he showed each player video messages from their family members, which we'd kept secret from the players until we showed the videos, and then gave a very brief speech just before we left the locker room
That's like my mate Dirty Barry who has a number of lock ups around London full of porn mags , he didn't see the Internet coming ( excuse the pun ) but he won't get rid of them as he thinks when there is a dystopian future and no Internet, porn mags will make a comeback
She's the moron who said "Obviously united need to get rid of Mason Greenwood but he deserves a chance at another club" Her salty tears are fantastic
Journalists and commentators in modern media come to games with fixed ideas on how they report and commentate , listen to a Sky Liverpool game and the commentator has his long drawn out "Saaaallaaahh ready every time that he strikes the ball in the box , much like certain reporters who come out with their smart arse opinions on Ange and our club It is refreshing to hear Ange striking back against their preconceptions, the recent "Clown " incident by the Standard rightly called out by Ange brought an apology pretty swiftly This trophy will shut up the " need to win a trophy bullshit , they will have to move that spotlight to Villa now
