Was an incredible goal line clearance.

So out of curiosity now that all has been said and done, yesterday's performance from you guys was a back to the wall job, not much attacking football and not really many chances.

Does it not feel great and an incredible high to win a trophy with pragmatic football :bandit:

Spoken to the producers, sounds like they’re giving me a huge budget for a one-off special. Should be airing in the next couple of days ;)

Big props to Ange too, he’s largely overseen a dreadful season BUT he’s just picked up our first trophy in 17 long bloody years and not just any trophy either, a EUROPEAN ONE!!!

He’s the type of guy I like to see win something too, regardless of my views on his management, I’ve maintained I think he’s a very decent bloke and I like his constant fighting for the club in interviews.

Whether he stays or goes this season, he’ll have my deepest gratitude for delivering such an amazing night.

What a gamble! To be fair, they could sell these to Spurs fans if they are clever.

The rival's tears are going to be so sweet...

    Let's begin here.....

    Alex Crook. Idiot! LOL

All the talk on Talksport about how Ange is out of his depth and "Totnum don't win nuFiNk!!" <laugh>

What's important is the intention to play attacking football and that's what Ange has, that is his philosophy. However, football is not, as many seem to view it, as some extension of a computer game, it is played against an opposing team who have their own set of players and tactics. The trope is that Ange has only one way to play! This is the story put out by journalists who just take Ange's post match comments at face value or to support the angle they have chosen to underpin their articles. In reality Ange varies his tactics, like all good managers, because of what the team he is facing at the time offer in return. Now people will refer to the Chelsea game where we went down to 9 men and still attacked and lost badly. He said at the time he was trying to embed the philosophy into his players and to change at that time would have confused them. After all at the time he had won 8 and drawn 2 of his first 10 games. Nevertheless journalists have continued with their first mistaken mind set. Just as they have relentlessly misused his reply " I have always won trophies in my second season" to become I WILL always win trophies in my second season. That's what journalists do.

We played how the manager decided we had to play in view of missing Maddison, Bergval, and Kulusevski the creative heart of our team. There was little choice really but to tough the game out. Fortunately for us United are pretty toothless up front and all went to plan.

Only the result was fun, the game was a traumatic event, I'm pretty sure for most Spurs fans.

I don't mind Tottenham, I hate Millwall, Man Utd and lately, Arteta's Arsenal.
Happy to see you win it tbh.

Is that the relative size of the two clubs?

We lost our creative players but we still had our disrupters, Richarlison and Bissouma both put in massive shifts destroying any opposing creativity.

Sky Sports news ran a great story earlier before I left.

Two blokes and their journey of getting there involving broken down vans and lost hire car keys in the stadium so they are now currently marooned.

They were a brilliant double act...<laugh>
