Anyway, as Sharpe says, there is no joy in seeing a league
club be threatened by the financial greed/stupidity of owners
(as a Spurs supporter of a certain age - some of us are still

I am actually surprised, given how much I hate Spurs, how happy I was for Ange.
He got so much **** this year from everyone, when he made that claim about winning trophies in his second year, and he made everyone eat their words, myself included.

Amorim on the other hand, I wonder what will happen to him. I know he has had no windows and was given a ****ty team, but by all metrics, United would have been better off sticking with Ten Hag. United were 2 points behind Newcastle when ETH was sacked, and now sit 27 points behind them, which could possibly be 30 points after this weekend, which goes to show their contrasting fortunes.
Also, Amorim leaving Sporting doesnt seem to have had any negative consequences for them, they still won their league at a canter.

Don't think it does. They play two teams from every pot to make 8 games so there's no benefit to the seeding whatsoever.
