    shola played well last week can fully understand why he has started although i would prefer hba or even best, dont understand why simpson is cb he will be murdered by holt in the air

    Pardew had to drop Ben Arfa , he had no choice , we need someone big and strong to defend set pieces and we have that in Shola now.

    A defence of full back without a single centre back on the bench!?! Holt and Morisson are fairly limited strikers but vert strong in the air. Perch and Simmo aren't. We'll just have to rely on Raylor and Santon to not let ANY crosses into the box at all.
