I think Son starts, it’s that situation with Kane again and like Poch, Ange will be damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t start him. Though I do think we’ll see either Richarlison or Solanke in the 10 instead of Odobert, both are work horses and will press through the middle like a mad man. I’d say: Vicario Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie Bissouma, Bentancur Johnson, Richarlison, Son Solanke
Thanks for the best wishes guys. I think my birthday’s about to get even better later! I’ve a sneaky feeling Ange has a magic trick up his sleeve tonight and will try something radical where we actually win the final. COYS PS: Porro as our no 10!
This season has generally been so poor and we’ve lost so many matches that tonight I’m watching with no expectations. I either expect to be laughing at yet another clown show, or staring in amazement that we’ve won a ****ing football match, let alone a cup final. Experience tells me we’ll all be depressed as **** come 10pm, having been beaten again in a cup final. Hopefully I’m wrong. COYS
I like this team but Bissouma in particular never shows up. I have a weird feeling about Richy doing something silly. Other than that a solid line up

Sarr is a shock starter for me, Son from the bench could be a master stoke, and I do think Romero plays better in the armband (cue a red card!).
Not starting Son is a massive, massive call. There is zero creativity and guile in our starting XI. I'm suddenly quite nervous.
And United, Amad worries me, Bruno is a class act and Casemiro doesn't lose finals. Mount is an interesting selection who could be a match winner.
Sorry for being pessimistic but that is a shocking line up. Average predictable players everywhere to be seen. I think Ange has screwed us one final time this evening.
