I used my Revolut card recently on a flight to Vegas and it was fine. I have a Lloyd’s account and they used to require you to tell them that you were travelling abroad. However, that was a few years ago?
I was reading the comments earlier and Chief’s one in particular. My daughter got charged fees on her Monza card a couple of years ago in the states, whereas I’ve never been charged on my Revolut.

Can't say I've had problems on a plane but then you don't get foreign transaction charges on one, so can just as easily use normal bank card.

Am going to Portugal next week, will report back!

Try use a Barclays card when you’re in the air!

    If you have one like.

Thanks for that, mate. I’ll need to get myself one of these cards, pronto. I’m going to be travelling a lot over these next few months especially, so need to start making some adult decisions on how I best manage my money through this.

I do yeah, but I don't use that for day to day stuff, would always use a debit card.

I use the Barclay card for fuel and holiday bookings and such like.

    Well that’s a relief :emoticon-0141-whew:

England will be the first country in the world to start vaccinating people against the sexually transmitted infection gonorrhoea.

It will not be available for everyone. The focus will mainly be on gay and bisexual men with a history of multiple sexual partners or an STI.

The vaccine is 30-40% effective, but NHS England hopes it will reverse soaring numbers of infections.

There were more than 85,000 cases in 2023 – the highest since records began in 1918.

I'm sure i read an article a few years ago stating it was so widespread that strains were appearing that were resistant to the normal antibiotics and the last resort ones had to be used which may explain why they are so keen to reduce the numbers

Bad experiences with Chase, they closed my gfs account with no explanation and a grand in there, and wouldn't give the money back. Eventually over a year later we got it back after going to the financial ombudsmen.
