He doesn't just trot out the usual platitudes, yet he also avoids being baited into overreacting. His point about robotic interviews and bland players is spot on, so he's well aware of it all. It's funny to see Darren Bent defending Brennan Johnson, as I have similar criticism of both. Playing with Bent was like playing with 10 men and being given the odd goal at random. Johnson can be equally anonymous and doesn't work hard enough, despite the goals. Let's hope that he can fix his Bentism and push on.
