To be fair they’ve resorted to personal insults now he’s been batting away their inane questions.

We’ve been written off and mocked by most of the media already so great if Ange and the team can stick it to them all tomorrow. We can deal with our own problems after.

Whatever happens, he’s always stuck up for the club with the media and good that he gives them a bit back.

Just for context, here's the article that he's angry about:
    https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...acy-europa-league-final-man-utd-b1228662.html

Dan Kilpatrick was the person he was responding to in the press conference.
He worded his question more diplomatically in person, but was clearly referring to his own work:
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cyvmmm76l0lo

I think he's about two games from calling someone a **** and clumping them! <laugh>
Most of the ****ers would probably deserve it, too.

He's specifically calling Dan KP out for a piece the Standard ran today which literally had the headline Ange Postecoglou teetering between hero and clown with Tottenham legacy on the line in Europa League final which also contained the line As Spurs prepare for Bilbao, Postecoglou is therefore in a strange position, teetering between hero and clown

Don't blame him for clapping back on that one

Below the belt from Kilpatrick but he most certainly is teetering on a very fine line. Either way he will go down in the history books, for all the right or all the wrong reasons.

I thought he batted away the nonsense quite well in all honesty, and we have already been written off by media and pundits alike. The Standard article was something The Scum "newspaper" would publish, and he puts up with a lot more s*** than I would!!

Anyway tomorrow could be quite a laugh...

TBH last time I managed to find a copy of the Standard, two pages in I found myself staring at the scowling, testicular visage of Toby Young and learned at that moment he's got a column in it now

Haven't felt the need to look for a copy since, if that's the direction they want to go

Eve of a huge game and Ange is picking the wrong battles for me. How does Ange have time to read every article about himself?

I actually thought the article was quite balanced, saying clown probably wasn’t the best word but the article wasn’t anti Ange at all

Nah, journalists work by needling a manager until they give a good quote. Normally they blame their players, a ref or another manager and they get their quote. Ange gave them one quote ever, the 2nd season trophy one and they ran it into the ground, twisting away from the context.

Regardless of everything else. He's a stand up guy and has every right to make the journalists that type that ****e have to own it to his face. Good on him.

Oh ****...until yesterday afternoon, I'd forgotten that match day was Wednesday, not the usual Thursday.

    Can't sleep.

I have zero expectations for tonight which probably helps things. I was usually a bag of nerves in a day like this.

I would just like to see one more trophy, especially as I'll be with my lad, before I shuffle off this world..<laugh>

The Greeks invented the modern world and they will not be slow in reminding you.
Australians take no **** from anyone and value winning, especially in England, above everything else.

Ange is a Greek Australian what the **** do you expect.

I would love it, just love it.

In reality, Scotland clearly invented the modern world and England can go **** itself.

Which, by the way, England is doing to itself, with the help of Farage. <laugh>
