It's pretty simple, if we can't turn up and beat Everton with a UCL place at stake, we don't deserve to be in the top competition.
PL record since Moyes was reappointed: Won 6 Drawn 7 Lost 4 25 points out of a possible 51. Compared to Newcastle: Won 13 Drawn 1 Lost 3 40 points put of a possible 51. So good, but not as good as us...
Hopefully it's an after the lord mayor's show response from Everton after geeing themselves up this weekend to give the fans and Goodison Park a good sendoff with a win. I'd imagine only Pickford will be busting a gut against us and the rest of the Everton team will already be relaxing on the beach next Sunday.
I cant see Man U siging Cuhna and him, so be interesting to see where he ends up. I'm not sure if i'd prefer him or Jonathan David on a free.
ESPN are reporting that Bruno G may be off to Saudi, with one of the PIF owned teams very keen and willing to pay us €120m, which they claim is still his release clause fee. Apparently his agent has already been over there to discuss his contract requirements and they're willing to pay him between €40m - €50m per year.
We all know we'll lose a big player at one point, if that bid of £100m came in, do we bite the bullet? Personally i'd be gutted to see Bruno leave, no just because of how important he's been to the team since he joined, but how it could potentially affect Joelinton too, and the fact that Bruno just seems to have clicked with the club. Centre mid's are more replaceable than strikers of left wingers though.
He said he would stay as he wanted us to win something. We've won something. Maybe leave on a high whilst allowing the club to strengthen significantly?
