To tell you the truth I was about to type a word without a letter I had already guessed and JulieD said not, its hasn't got a "_" in it change it to "_____" and it was correct, the first two letters stayed the same, just rearranged the last 3.
Right, here we are, the Chart for the Week. Last week's was bad, but this one takes the biscuit. 3 fails for the week, all on the Thursday; 10 (TEN) in the 30's club, and just 2...yes 2, scores under 25. This bits nice and easy with the Star of the Week, the runner-up, and the honourable mentions all rolled into one! This week's its all shared between @Monkey69 and @Ron who both got 24. The 30's club....bloody hell where do i start? On 30, @Black Siamese Cat, blondies lad Niall, Whittylass and @Young Ted. On 31, @Snaggey. On 32, @clockstander & Clockerty. On 33, @Blond Bombshell & @Red'un. And way, way in the distance, on 36, is @Norman Stanley Fletcher. What scores will this nervous week bring?
Cheers @Snaggey for your efforts. Hopefully she will be home for the promotion party next week.. as always it's good fun.
Incidentally - that Thursday with the 3 fails was a red letter day. I do a Wordle competition within the family. There’s 4 of us who compare our scores each day. Me, my son, the daughter in law, and her father. We ALL failed on Thursday!
Had to be quick. Battery nearly flat and can't be bothered to plug it in. I'm managing to eliminate a lot of words with my second guess when the first one is crap. Hence a very quick 3 today
Decent birdie but a bit of a struggle. Couldn't think of anything after the second go then the answer just popped into my head.
The last Hughie, that & a juicy, Hughies 2, 3 & 5, then quite a bit of thinking before finishing with a decent par, I think
