Diaz being really selfish since he came on. He's had about 5 opportunities to pass to players who could get off a shot, but he's decided to take people on or take shots from bad positions.
Think it shows how much we rely on the Grav/Mac combo to cover the gaps. Which is why we probably need another DM to rest or replace one of them in games.
The press is non existent there and konate was miles up gambling too. Once thr guy broke at all he was into miles of space to just run and there was 4 players all on our right side and konate just got in with Bradley but very hard to defend it.
Some really crap defending tonight, front to back. The danger of winning the league with too much ease, is the drop off in the remaining games and we aint bucking that trend so far.
Not huge surprise given we have a back 4 of Endo Konate Quansah tsimikas with Elliott and jones ahead of them lol. Diaz has pissed me off more since coming on. Every time he’s got the ball he’s cut in side into about 7 players and lost the ball.
salah hasn’t exactly covered himself with glory this second half. Apart from missing a sitter he’s been too busy looking to score or dribble from impossible angles
They just cant bring themselves to cut out one pass and go wide. Shuffle from one cb to the other and Brighton cut off all space. Brighton deserve the lead. Salah missed two sitters and our subs seem to have either been to avoid booing been useless or totally indulgent. Jones and Diaz have really killed us. Chisea and nunez, both like playing with 10 men. By the time we get it anywhere it's already closed down.
