I also thought about Watson on the right, but I'm not sure he would backtrack to support Hume .

Yeah we're in a good place as we have loads of sellable assets to fun another promotion push but we're so close now I will be devastated if we don't get over the line. I love this group of players.

I’ll be gutted if we don’t do it obviously. But I will have nothing but pride in them. They have been way above our expectations this season

Yeah, no guarantees we can replace them and with other big hitters coming into the league .. just don’t want to be here again :emoticon-0102-bigsm. Would love this group to do it, even if it means dropping back down next year

Yeah I think I predicted mid table and then said in around January that the playoff final should be the minimum target so I have no complaints now. But I think this will be our 51st game in all competitions this season, that's a long journey to fall at the last hurdle

Yeah me neither, you just have to look at Southampton to see that even if you are dreadful in the PL you will have a good shot at going straight back up. They've barely won a game this season but will have striker options of Archer, Stewart and Armstrong next season

stunning example of how bad our cup form is that the 51st game is the minimum amount of games a playoff finalist can play.

You've talked me into it, I can see the sense in that.

The likes of Norwich seem to just blow their parachute money ...

... I suspect KLD would use it very well and continue to progress the club despite a relegation.

I completely agree with what we did with the cups this season. Disappointing to lose early obviously but imagine we'd done well in both, we'd be up towards 56/57 games. We don't have the squad for that

I've absolutely no doubt Le Bris wanted nothing to do with the cups, he probably wouldn't win, on top of 46 league games ...

... the French can't believe we have so many games and think it stops us winning Euros and World Cups.

I agree with them. They did away with their version of the League Cup recently didn't they?

Yes, that's why you'll see the likes of Calais in the Cup Final, Le Bris has been very clever with all of this.

We scored in the last few minutes of both playoff legs through sheer stamina ...

... imagine if he'd whipped the players in the last six league games.

Not sure how this'll pan out, will be a tight game, but I think/hope we can do it.

    Our pace will terrify them.

Personally I think I'd begrudgingly put Mayenda on the bench and bring him on for Isidor, on 60, to run at tired defenders.

Hoping Mundle is fit to start and ELF in the 10.

It's not how you start at Wembley, but how you finish. I've seen loads of teams get battered 1st half but eventually win in the 2nd. We know these boys never give up.

Pressure is all on them and will start to ramp up soon.

Keep the ball better and let the lads express themselves.

    Haway the ****ing lads

Think this is the thing. I’d love to see this specific group of players do it as they seem such a good group. I have no doubt that we’d be well-placed to go again if we miss out (if the fanbase can hold its nerve through the autumn) but I want to see what all of these players could achieve together.
